Bio:
London-based journalist, sustainability consultant and broadcaster Juliet has spent almost three decades sharing stories about the world’s most special places to spend time. The first-ever Sustainability Editor of Condé Nast Traveller, she shares green travel tips on the BBC and through leading publications across continents, her book ‘The Green Edit: Travel (Easy Tips for the Eco-Traveller)’ published by Ebury, an imprint of Penguin is a pocket-sized guide to being more sustainable, and the ‘Bucket List Eco Experiences’ published by Rizzoli, out late 2022. Founding editor of Mr & Mrs Smith and author of Louis Vuitton City Guides, Juliet shifted her energies to amplifying awareness around sustainability in 2016, creating communications consultancy Bouteco to help brands to be better storytellers, free of greenwash. While she’s keen to keep exploring, she’s mindful of how we must fly less and travel in a way that leads to positive socio-economic and environmental impact.
