“… I found it very interesting to go back to the roots to see how we can preserve and recover the arts, but also elevate the level of what the women were used to doing, with a much more artistic perspective.”

Bio:
Born in Brazil to a multicultural family, Carolina was exposed to a diverse world from the very beginning. Raised by parents who were classical musicians, Carolina developed an early appreciation for the arts and culture. Their upbringing was a blend of various influences due to their international background.
Carolina has called multiple countries home throughout their life, including Brazil, Germany, and Italy. Her educational journey led her to study in both Germany and the United States, where she honed her skills and gained a global perspective.
With a passion for leadership, Carolina embarked on a top-tier management career, making significant contributions at multinational companies such as P&G, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Merck.
But Carolina decided to take a bold step in a new direction. Driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact and empower women in Sicily, she left her high-profile leadership role and, together with her husband Piero di Pasquale, embarked on a mission to create change by founding the first digital atelier in Europe for female artisans. This innovative platform connects local embroiderers, fostering work opportunities, and producing exquisite interior design, home linens, and resort wear products of the highest quality for discerning clients around the world.
Carolina‘s journey is a testament to their unwavering commitment to making a difference and their dedication to merging creativity, culture, and empowerment.
